INGREDIENTS
2 to 2 1/2 lbs (1 to 1 1/2 kg) chicken wings
1/2 tsp (2 3/4 g) salt
1/2 tsp (2 1/2 g) ginger powder
1/2 tsp (2 1/2 g) red pepper powder
1 tsp (3 g) garlic powder
1 tsp (3 g) onion powder
1/4 cup (59 ml) rice wine (I used soju)
**I used 1 1/2 quarts (1.42 L) cooking oil to deep fry**

FRY MIX
1 cup (125 g) potato starch (or corn starch)
1 cup (125 g) all purpose flour
1 tsp (5 1/2 g) salt
1 tsp (4 g) sugar
1 tsp (5 g) ginger powder
1 tsp (5 g) red pepper powder
2 tsp (6 g) granulated garlic powder
2 tsp (6 g) granulated onion powder

HONEY GARLIC SAUCE
1 tbsp (15 ml) cooking oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup (59 ml) soy sauce (low sodium soy sauce works well)
1/4 cup (59 ml) honey (rice or corn syrup work as well)
**Garnish with toasted sesame seeds

    I always use my own ingredients. There are no ethnic grocery stores closer than 4 hours from my house. I can’t tell you how frustrating that is. I love all kinds of foods. What else can I use for marinade instead of wine? Water ? Lemon juice rice wine vinegar? I can’t think of anything acidic without flavor that would change the taste. I can not use alcohol because of health. Please add substitute for recipes if you can . I really like your food. Thank you

    I love all of your recipes, I can’t say that I’ve tried them all but the ones that I have are really good. I have one trouble though… flour tortillas… they always get too hard. am I over working the dough? under working it? I do what you do and they still turn into bricks or frisbees. if I over work the dough is that wrong?
